A PEEK INTO THE FUTURE . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ? My 7+ Predictions for US and the E.U

After careful thought and contemplation, and using all the facts at my fingertips, these are my predictions for OUR future,

and the future of Europe.

1) On Thursday 23rd, votes to Leave or Remain in the EU, will be close. I predict that the UK will vote LEAVE by a 4% or 5% lead.

2) Scotland will surprise everybody by casting more votes to LEAVE than the SNP thought, though its overall vote will be to Remain.

3) On Friday 24th, the pound will plummet, as money markets get the jitters. But by Christmas, the pound will have climbed back to where it is today, and confidence will have revived.

4) There won't be all the job losses that the Remain Campaign predicted. Life will carry on much the same as it is now.

5) There has been talk that David Cameron would have to resign if we voted LEAVE. This won't happen. He won't resign, and there will few calls for him to do so. In fact, he (and the rest of the members of the Tory party who wanted to Remain in the EU) will turn his rhetoric around to, "The people were right!" and "What a wonderful thing it is to be out of the EU!"

6) The EU has said that it has plans in the pipeline that it won't disclose until after the UK Referendum. Why . . . ? It can only be that these 'plans' would be detrimental to Britain. And they will be! ( This really is an unfair 'Prediction' of mine, because it is patently obvious that something that the British public wouldn't approve of, would have been in store for us. So I relinquish any credit for this coming true! )

7) After our Referendum, other countries in the EU will call for their own referendums. Greece, Spain and Italy - who have probably suffered the most, with 40% of their youth being unemployed - will lead this campaign, which will eventually lead to the complete break-up of the EU.

BY 2020

By 2020, there will be no EU. (Or it will be on its last legs!)

Angela Merkel, Boris Johnson, Jeremy Corbyn, George Osbourne and Nigel Farrage (who's legacy will be that he started all this!) will be just distant memories, and David Cameron will resign as leader of the Conservatives, to be replaced by some new, fresh spark. (?) And the Tories will win the General Election.

The SNP will be greatly diminished, voters trailing back to one of the two main parties. And there will be no further referendum to leave the UK.

The UK will have forged trade links with America, China, Japan and many other countries. We will still be exporting to Europe. And we will have renewed free-trade agreements with the Commonwealth.

Britain will have complete control of its borders, and immigration will have slowed (though not back to the tens of thousands that the Conservatives promised in the last two elections!).

We will still be in the top five countries of the world which are doing well, economically. Our future will be bright. Our democracy assured.

We will have our security, our co-operation in all things, still linked to Europe. Of course we will! We are friends and neighbours, and nothing will change that. But we will have taken back our sovereignty, our independence, our right to govern ourselves, and the freedom to plan our future as our own nation decides.
